Baby Bump

For the first time, I can ever remember, a scrapbook company has done a "Mum to be" range, timing was brilliant as my daughter in law was expecting my first grandchild! Bo Bunny Baby Bump is the range and I chose all the papers, the chipboard and cardstock stickers. I know the photos are the same in both layouts but ones going in my album and one in theirs !

The first one I used my friends new Circuit Cartridge Edge to Edge to make the die cut sun ray effect sheet and then attached pieces from several of the papers behind.

Love how the paper in this page resembles Kylies dress!! A happy coincidence but something us scrapbookers love lol!!

Congratulations card

Todays card uses the Sue Wilson dies from Creative Expressions. I love the White on White look but this time I added a little Black cardstock for the leaves to make the card pop a little. I cut all 3 dies out in one go in Cream cardstock and then made a folded rectangular card slightly smaller than the largest die, so from the front you only see the lovely frame.

products used:

Dies: Sue Wilson Cordoba from the Spanish Collection and Faux Quilled Blooms from the Finishing Touches collection, Martha Stewart leaf punch.

Its been a while

I have decided to combine my card and scrapbooking blog together, with the intention { hopefully} that I can get back to posting regularly.

I will post cards I have made at classes, they wont be in date order but at least I should be fully updated soon. I have also been on a mission this year to use up all my old scrapbooking kits/stash, I am nearly there and will post pictures of those as well.

First up a card class I did showing ways to use up all those scraps we all like to keep and then never use lol!!

I had an old template that consisted of squares and rectangle, I cut each shape out using scraps from a 6x6 pad and then drew lines with a fine liner pen around each box. The stamp was embossed with some Ivory embossing powder and the card finished off with a sentiment.

Stamps: Joy stamps Echinacea and Paula Pascual Mixed sentiments
Punch: Circle
Papers: First Edition Desert Blooms
Extras: fine liner brown pen, pearls, creative expressions Ivory embossing powder

This card uses 3 different sizes of ovals, you could use punches or dies. I used my cricut to cut them and then created templates in thicker card for everyone to use. The side panel is simply embossed and finished off with a sentiment and a brad

Stamps: Woodware singles sentiment Happy Birthday
Papers: Basic Grey
