Different ways with distress ink

I had a class last week looking at different types of ink. This card uses distress ink in different ways. I used a water brush to paint the flowers with the ink off a mat, to distress around the edges and also over a heat embossed image for a resist technique. The stamp is from Stamps by Chloe. The edges have been stamped with the same one as the stem in embossing ink and covered with clear embossing powder. The stem has been stamped in Adirondak Lettuce ink. The flowers have been heat embossed with clear powder again over black pigment ink. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion. Its been all done on watercolour card. I added some yellow pearls in the centres. The distress ink colour is Scattered Straw.
