Update

Again apologies for not blogging recently but I have had so much going on its left no time for sitting too long at a computer! After what seems like forever ...in fact its only 10 months we have finally sold out house and found a new one! Now comes the worst part of packing and throwing out....my hubby seems to think I should start on my craft room now..lol!!  Typical for me it had to happen right before I went away to Stitches the trade show, with John and Rene from In2crafting where I teach. So a mad panic to get solicitors and surveyors instructed before throwing some things in a bag, grabbing my camera and off in the car to Birmingham. We were very lucky and had tickets to attend the Ranger workshops the day before the show officially opened. I have never had a class with Tim Holtz before and he was wonderful, very clever man and the project we made was beautiful. I like the distressed effect but I like it not too heavy, still pretty and subtle. My biggest wish was that we would be using the brand new Distress Markers that he launched at CHA in America....my wish came true and we got to keep 3 pens each....you should have heard the scream for the ladies in the workshop!! They are fab to work with and I can definitely recommend them, they will be available in all the Distress ink colours plus Picket Fence...which is a brilliant white pen.

Here is what we made..

and the man himself...

This will definitely be hanging in my new craft room, back tomorrow with 2 cards I made in the Spellbinders class.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Seems like you had a great time Jackie. What new products did you see that took your fancy other than the distress pens.
