Statement Flower

Good Morning, hope you all had a lovely VE day yesterday. I'm having a break from fun fold cards for a little while. I have sent a few more different ones out to people, but with the post taking a lot longer at moment, I'm not sure if they have them yet. This week I brought one of the new Altenew stamps from their latest release. Its a large stamp and it's called Statement Flower. For this card I used my Zig watercolour pens on watercolour card. It's just been stamped with black pigment ink and definitely worth using a stamp positioner , so you can make sure you get an even stamped image. The background is the watercolour stripes stencil that I have gently blended ink through, but not all over. There is a die for this stamp, I dont have it, but it's easily cut out.  I have put foam pads on back and finished off with a sentiment.

Belated Easter card

Today's post was supposed to go up on Sunday but I didn't hit the publish button after scheduling it so here it is today instead. This is the Easter card I made for the grandchildren. I used my peek a boo die again with these great little character stamps I picked up at show this year. Simply watercolored with Zig pens and then cut out to sit around the frame.

Tulip card

Hi there , I hope you are having a fabulous Easter. Today’s card is the one I made for my grown up children and my mum and dad. The tulip stamp and the sentiment  is from Clearly Besotted and I stamped it on watercolour card and coloured with Zig Pens. The dies are from My Favourites Things.
Very quick and easy but I was short on time.

Sue Wilson Fiji die and Spring Flower Wreath stamp

The card I am posting today uses the Fiji die and co-ordinating Spring Flower Wreath stamp from Sue Wilsons November release. I cut two pieces of white card and then scored down the side about 1" in and attached together ( like a cheque book) The decorative dies on the edge were cut out of foundations cardstock. The Spring Wreath stamp was inked with Versafine black and I used watercolour cardstock. I coloured the flowers with the Zig Clear pens and a water brush. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion and I used the outer die from the set to cut out the stamped image. Finished off with some yellow gingham ribbon, which I threaded through after punching 2 holes with my hole punch.

Both die set and stamp are available to purchase from Craft Plus UK, back tomorrow with my last card from this class
