Stamping and Embossing class

Had another lovely class this morning at Forget Me Knot, using basic stamping and heat embossing powders.

First card uses one of my favourite stamps from Hero Arts. Each flower was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The card we used was some of Tim Holtz Distressed card but you can use any coloured card to get this effect. The banner across the bottom is from one of my new Sizzix Framelits from Paula Pascal. Love this die set and you get a smaller die to use for the sentiment. I used some liquid pearls to do some clusters of dots to finish.

Products used:

Stamps: Hero Arts Dotty Flowers, Paula Pascal Double Sayings sentiment set
Card: Kraft, Tim Holtz Distressed card Crushed Olive and Tattered Rose
Dies: Sizzix Fancy Wrappers
Embellishments: Mark Richards Silver Nailheads

Next card uses the fabulous card Candi from Craftwork cards combined with the co-ordinating stamps from Woodware. I choose the Candi from the shop and went with White with Silver dots, so decided on a monotone colour combo for the card. The stamp is quite big and I wanted to use one of the Woodware big sentiments so decided to use one of the new Craftwork Cards shaped cards we have just had in. The stamp is inked with Black pigment ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder, the same for the sentiment. The embellishments on the flower are a combination of card Candi, Black flat back pearls and Nailheads. The leaves were stamped and embossed again and cut out and paper pieced back on with foam pads. Finished off with some lovely Craft Creations paper and some lush Silver satin ribbon
