Its been a while

I have decided to combine my card and scrapbooking blog together, with the intention { hopefully} that I can get back to posting regularly.

I will post cards I have made at classes, they wont be in date order but at least I should be fully updated soon. I have also been on a mission this year to use up all my old scrapbooking kits/stash, I am nearly there and will post pictures of those as well.

First up a card class I did showing ways to use up all those scraps we all like to keep and then never use lol!!

I had an old template that consisted of squares and rectangle, I cut each shape out using scraps from a 6x6 pad and then drew lines with a fine liner pen around each box. The stamp was embossed with some Ivory embossing powder and the card finished off with a sentiment.

products used:

Stamps: Joy stamps Echinacea and Paula Pascual Mixed sentiments
Punch: Circle
Papers: First Edition Desert Blooms
Extras: fine liner brown pen, pearls, creative expressions Ivory embossing powder

This card uses 3 different sizes of ovals, you could use punches or dies. I used my cricut to cut them and then created templates in thicker card for everyone to use. The side panel is simply embossed and finished off with a sentiment and a brad

Products used:

Stamps: Woodware singles sentiment Happy Birthday
Papers: Basic Grey
Embossing folder: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots
Cricut: George cartridge
Extras: Adirondack ink Stream, Marvey Le PLume pen to match ink, white brad
