Craftwork Cards put a "Pink" challenge up on Friday and I managed to squeeze in enough time in the day to design a card. I only had Paper Couture collection that was mainly pink and it came with some fab bodice die cuts. They was a prize for a winner picked at random and I won !! so I have some more fab Craftwork Card goodies on the way.
Here's my entry

Create-a-card Christmas card
Todays card uses one of the Die'sire Create-a-card dies. I used Kraft card to make it more rustic looking. Once the die had been cut and embossed I left the die in and sponged distress ink through the holes with a piece of cut n dry foam. The poinsettia die was done with a combination of kraft and co-ordinations card and sanded back.
Products used:
Die: Die'sire Create a card Christmas Eve, Spellbinders Poinsettia
Stamps: Woodware A Heartfelt Christmas
Distress ink: Frayed Burlap
Extras: Twine

Indigoblu class
Todays cards are from a recent Indigoblu class, using some of the new stamps released for this Christmas. The first one is a bauble from Spellbinders, that has been distressed with inks and then the Snowflake stamp inked with Flitter glue and the new gilding flake rubbed over the top. I also used some more flake on top of double sided tape to make an edge around the card. The ribbon was sprayed with a pearly spray mist, scrunched up and wiped through some of the distress ink. Once its dried you can see the shimmer of the pearl spray plus it matches the ink used on the card
Products used:
Dies: Spellbinders Heirloom Baubles
Distress Inks: Evergreen Borough, Tumbled Glass
Stamps: Indigoblu Snowflake lace and Noel (dinkie)
Flake: Indigoblu Chocolate Box
Extras: Seam binding ribbon, pearl spray, Creative Expressions gem, Flitter glue
products used:
Stamps: Indigoblu Rockin Robin, Merry Christmas Circle
Embossing folder: Die'sire Snowflake 6x6

Magic of Christmas part 3
Here are a few more cards using the Magic of Christmas kit from Craftwork Cards. For the first one I used some Kraft cardstock to make a round frame using my circle cutter. I used the waste from the die cut sheets with some paper behind them for the accents on the side. Bow is from the coordinating pad. I used a Die'sire 6x6 Snowflake embossing folder behind.
Next one I used some of the die cut waste again for the middle and made a square from kraft card and cut a cross in the middle so the flaps opened out. Each one was covered with some paper from the pad and finished off with some snowflake punches and a bow.
The third one uses the Woodware bubble tree stamp from this year and I have added candi, pearls, gems and glitter glue in the smaller circles. The sentiment comes with the stamp set. I have used chalks to colour the card around the stamp.
Back tomorrow with a crushed candi card
