Craft Club card

On todays craft club card we used a lovely stamp from Inkylicious. I used a mask for the background and lots of distress ink and some wax to finish off. We have some lovely metal embellishments in the shop and I fixed that with a brad to finish with some cord. I dripped some water onto the bird panel which creates a lovely effect with distress ink.

Felt flowers

I remembered last night I did not post this card from before Christmas. Creative expressions do some lovely colours of felt now and they cut through metal dies so well.  This is my version of a card Sharon made for a class. It also uses one of the new Die'sire die cut sets from Crafters Companion which are great value for money. I found it best to glue flowers together with a hot glue gun when using felt.

Craft Club at Forget Me Knot

Bringing cards upto date, here is the card the ladies at craft club made this Monday. It was my first time of using Tonic dies and I must say they are lovely to use....and more importantly easy to clean out after running through your die cutting machine. I used a pink bazzill bling cardstock to cut out the dies and then matted some cream bling behind. A circle cut out of the centre {using one of the dies in the set} and piece of black cardstock behind to make the centre piece stand out. Although I stamped a birthday sentiment you could make some beautiful wedding/anniversary cards with this set of dies.

Products used:

Dies: Tonic Verso Decorative Bows
Cardstock: Bazzill Bling/black
Stamps: Woodware sentiments
Extras: Black ribbon, Black gems

Craft Club at Forget Me Knot

Now the seasonal festivities are over craft club has started up again. I have had some blogger problem so could not post until now....this is the card we did last week using Creative Expressions Micro beads. A piece of white card was stamped all over with the Indigoblu stamps. Then I covered it with a piece of double sided adhesive and cut into 4 equal sized pieces, then sprinkle the micro beads over the sticky panels. I mounted each strip onto some coral and attached to a piece of green card , wrapped some ribbon from the front and stamped and matted a sentiment to finish.

Its hard to see the effect the beads have from the photograph, I took a closer one to get a better look

Products used:

Stamps: Indigoblu Bloomin Great, Sentiment from Steampunk Dreams from Sam Poole
Inks: Adirondack Lettuce, Watermelon, Mountain Rose
Extras: Double sided adhesive sheet, Creative Expressions Micro beads, ribbon, coral, white and green cardstock.

All products can be purchased or ordered from the shop, we have lots of new stock starting to come in now and a new class list is now available and can be viewed here
