Designer Tree

A couple of cards today and tomorrow using the new stamp set from Creative Expressions called Designer Tree.  These cards were designed for a class so I have kept the designs very simple because of time. It consists of a trunk of a tree and then 3 different leave designs to stamp over the trunk and four different "friend" sentiments.

First one , timely with Valentines around the corner. I used flitter glue to stamp the hearts and then sprinkled red glitter over the top...you could use red embossing powder or a red ink pad as another technique.

Products Used:

Stamps: Creative Expressions Designer Tree, Paula Pascual Congratulations Messages
Dies: Spellbinders labels 22
Extras: Indigoblu Flitterglue, Creative Expressions Red glitter
Ink: Black Archival

For the second card I used the leaf stamp with a Green ink, making a different coloured sky behind by making a circle mask and blending distress ink over the mask. I grounded the tree using some more of the Green ink and some torn copy paper and added one of the sentiments from the set.

Monochromatic Silhouette card

Today's card uses on the silhouette stamps from Creative Expressions. I also used one of the square Die'sire dies, left out the middle square and attached a square of Black card behind. The silhouette image was just inked up with Black ink, Archival in this case......my go to ink pad for most of my stamping. Gives a lovely crisp image and comes in a ever growing range of colours.

I did trim down the saying that comes with the stamp, as I was short on space. Some thin dotty ribbon was threaded through the holes in the die cut and a bow tied on the side. A few Black pearls to finish off.

Products used:

Stamps: Creative Expression Shoes 2
Dies: Die'sire Create a Card Decandance
Embellishments : Black ribbon and pearls
Ink: Black Archival
