Sue Wilson Swirly Vine die and misting inks
My card today is from a class I did recently using one of the November release dies from Sue Wilsons. Its made up of 5 dies, 3 decorative and 2 outline dies. I die cut the largest die with the next outline down then trimmed to size as this large decorative stays in the card. I then use the smallest decorative die and an outline die to make the centre piece. I used a good quality white cardstock as I used Creative Expressions Misting inks to spray over both pieces. I haven't used these before but they are great and easy to use. No clogging up as there is no mica in there just ink. They come in a pack of 3 and I have posted a pic so you can see them, its the nature collection. When you first spray them they look quite intense colour but if you dab off the excess with kitchen towel you get a much more muted look. The middle of the card is a piece of acetate, the centre square floats on top of it. I stamped a sentiment from Woodware in Black Stazon ink before I attached centre piece to acetate. The whole panel was then matted onto some more white card and then with foam pads onto my card base. Think this would work as a mans card as well. I definitely need to get more of these inks. Both dies and inks are available at Crafts Plus Uk, details on my side bar.
