Todays card is very different. I had seen this set in the current book and thought how nice to have a sentiment thanking people for their kindness. I always had in the back of mind my Mum telling me when attended funerals , make sure when we go you thank everyone who sends us flowers. Unfortunately, I now need to make those cards as last week we held my Dads funeral. We decided on donations and just family flowers, so these cards are going to his friends who have donated to the British Heart Foundation. I have designed a card using the Kindness and Compassion set together with some of the leaf stamps from the Rooted in Nature set.
I was going to do it in shades of Green and then changed my mind to Greys. I have still made that card but adapted it for a Birthday card and I will show that tomorrow. This card uses Smoky Slate, Grey Granite and Basic Grey Inks. I used some Grey Granite ink and card to for the sentiment. Inside the card it reads " It is deeply appreciated and will always be remembered by our family" which I thought was lovely.
Mums loves it, so that's all that matters. This set also contain some lovely sentiments for sending condolences.
