Altenew Floral Art

Happy Saturday, it's the weekend and the weathers back to be sunny again. I have a card today using the Altenew Floral Art stamp and die set. The background has been foiled using a Spellbinders Glimmer foiling plate in silver. I stamped some of the leaves in pink that come in the set but I added some leaves from the Wallpaper Art set and those are in black. Finished off with a sentiment die cut and birthday stamp that comes in the Simon Says stamp set.

Polka Dot Strip Glimmer Plate

Happy Bank Holiday, hope you all enjoying the lovely weather. My card today uses some more foiling plates from Spellbinders. I brought the Polka Dot stripe from the Yana Smakula collection and added some other plates from Spellbinders foiling range. I wanted to add some leaves but when I did this card, I didn't have anything suitable so I stuck some of the foil on double sided adhesive which I backed with some white card scraps from my box. The run them through the die cutting machine with a Sue Wilson leaf die I had in my stash. That way it all coordinates with my hot foiled pieces. I also used a plain circle die and added some foil between the die and some card to create the foiled ring. I kept the card a turquoise and copper combo. Finished off as usual with some Nuvo drops.

Spellbinders Glimer Plates

I spent an evening with my Spellbinders Glimmer machine recently. I tend to spend some time just foiling lots of different plates in various foils.  I die cut them out if they come with the additional dies and save them in a wallet to make into cards later. I also do some backgrounds and today's card uses a new plate called Geometric Florals. It comes with this geometric shape, some leaves and tiny flowers. For this card I just used the shape and some foiled elements I had already done weeks ago.

The die I used today is called Foiled Brushstrokes and Stripes. I brought mine from Craftstash and the Glimmer plates are on offer at the moment, I have left a link in the product description below.
