Easter Basket

Another Easter card today, this time using a SVG file to cut the basket, as I dont have a die.  I used the same egg stamps as I used on yesterdays card and the rabbit at the back is from Memory Box. I finished off with a sentiment across the bottom.

Hanging Basket

Todays card uses the smallest flowers from the Crafters Companion Vintage Lace dies. I cut them in different tones of Yellows and Oranges. I punched some little leaves from a old Martha Stewart punch. The basket itself is a SVG and I used some old 12x12 papers I picked up at a show years ago for the basket liner. The background is a embossing folder from Stampin Up. Finished off with a sentiment, twine and little Black pearls in flower centers.

Key Rings

Today I am sharing some other little gifts I made for Christmas using the Cricut and some vinyl.  I brought the SVG file for the paint brush effect and also the display card. The key rings and tassels come from Amazon and they come in packs with various colours and either gold or silver. I added the name  in white vinyl on the front and a little heart or flower icon. I stamped a sentiment across the bottom of the display card and the wrapped in a cello bag and added a bow made from a die and cut in glitter card.

Christmas Shadow Boxes

I made these shadow boxes as gifts, again an idea I had seen on Pinterest. I brought the shadow boxes as a set from Amazon, they are different sizes 8x6 and 7x5. I left it too late to get the bigger deeper boxes which would have fitted a larger bauble. So I went with these and used the smaller 3cm baubles. The red, green and gold ones came from The Range. They were £3 for 42 baubles so not expensive. The blue, white and silver ones came from Morrisons and were reduced and I think it was around £2. I brought the SVG file and cut it in white Cricut vinyl. I backed the box with white glitter and gold glitter card. You could put lights in them as well. If you wanted to change the colour scheme the backs come off the frames so easily done.

Cricut decorated mugs

I saw ideas on Pinterest and Youtube to decorate mugs using the Cricut machine and I have wanted to get into using vinyl, so I made some up for presents. The glass mugs themselves a not that expensive and are easily ordered from Amazon. The title and initial ones were made for gifts for my grandson's teachers. Then I made some others up for my daughter and daughter in law and people who care for my mum. I used Rose Gold or Copper Cricut permanent vinyl for the largest letter and then White for name or title going across. Inside was a chocolate stirrer, some Galaxy or Cadburys hot chocolate and some Christmas Chocolate baubles or snowballs. I then found some yummy marshmallows to go with it in Aldi.

I have made a few other things using my Cricut and now everyone has them I can share, so will be back soon to show you those.

Some Bunny Loves You

Happy Good Friday, lovely weather again today. So today's card is different for me because besides the sentiment on the front, which is a stamp from Clearly Besotted, it has been completely made using my Cricut. The upload also includes the sentiment inside which I did with one of their pens. The cardstock is from Anna Marie and I did two different colours, a grey and a soft turquoise. I used some scraps of card for the flowers and leaves. Here is a link to the project

Have a great weekend, stay safe

Reindeer Belly Box

I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas, I actually had my Christmas Day yesterday with my family and I made these cute little Reindeer boxes for the grandchildren to go on the table. I popped a little toy in each as I didn't want them eating chocolate before dinner. I cut them on my Cricut, but you can use any of the machines that take a SVG file. Click the link here for more info. They do lots of different characters besides Christmas ones , maybe an idea for a kids party. I just used some card and ink from my stash.

If you have some Christmas money and would like a Cricut Air 2, here is mine.

Peony Coverplate from Ton Stamps

Happy Sunday to you all. Its a gorgeous day here in Essex, had a lovely sit in the garden this morning having my coffee. My card today is a little different, it uses my Cricut Air to create a layered card. I recently saw a pad in the Range which is a collection of tonal colours and patterns, something I have been after for a while. It comes in several colours, I chose the Pink one. Layered dies are very popular at the moment but this card has been made using a digital version. I have linked below where I brought it, its a SVG file so can be used on Silhouette and Scan n Cut. I cut each layer and stuck them on top of each other, I then backed it with some acetate. I applied some foam tape to back and mounted onto card base. You could also do it absolutely flat and I added a die cut sentiment and some gems to finish.

I made this card recently using a cut file I brought for my Cricut Air 2. I cut out the front panel and then attached it to a sheet of double sided adhesive. I stamped the sentiment and then covered it with Wow Frosted Petals Sparkle Glitter. Finished off with some gems and ribbon.

Heart Cut File

I recently treated myself to a Cricut Air 2 and I had downloaded this cut file from the Silhouette store to use on a scrapbook page. I decided it would also make a great Anniversary card, so I just downsized to fit on my card blank. I cut the hearts in different papers and on some white card and attached together, just to support the foam pads more.  I did some stamping on the border down the left hand side. Finished off with some ribbon and a bow.
